Product Certification

There are many “green” product certifications and standards programs continuing to emerge in the marketplace, such as third-party certifications, self-certification with third-party validation, and others. Unfortunately, most are based on single life cycle stages or single environmental impacts. Focusing on a single attribute may be misleading because it does not necessarily address potential effects at other life cycle stages or other environmental impacts.

Our priority is to help customers understand how our products and services help them create, build and operate sustainable spaces throughout the life cycle. As an industry leader, we are involved in a comprehensive view of certification and standards development through active participation in leading green building organizations.
