Fissured™ Acoustical Ceiling Panels
Fissured acoustical ceiling panels and Fissured panels with optional FIRECODE™ formulation are economical, medium-textured acoustical panels that feature directional fissures. They are produced with a water-felted manufacturing process that provides excellent sound control and solid ceiling attenuation class (CAC) performance. Their perforated surface aids in sound absorption, and they clean easily with a soft brush or vacuum. Their FIRECODE formulation contains special additives that increase fire resistance and may qualify for use in fire rated assemblies to help meet life safety codes.
Fissured panels are classified as low-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed the 13.5 ppb limit required by California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350, and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS).
