AIRTROL® Geobinder
AIRTROL® Geobinder is an erosion control product that helps promote plant growth on a variety of sites, including inclined surfaces, utility installations, highways, landfill final covers, commercial and residential construction, golf course construction, mine reclamation, and around water retention ponds.
It is cost effective and applies easier than erosion control netting or blankets, requiring the normal surface preparation used for seeding. Combined with mulch (it can be used with a wide variety), AIRTROL Geobinder coats the soil surface and forms a protective, crust-like barrier that minimizes water- and wind-induced erosion.
The binder improves the structure of heavy clay soils and is ideal for areas where dust control is critical, dissolving slowly and supplying calcium and sulfur to the soil. It holds both seed and fertilizer in place, retaining moisture in the soil while buffering soil pH.
