Brio ClimaPlus acoustical ceiling panels are zero emitting acoustical panels. These panels also feature Superior Performance which means they contain a patented broad-spectrum antimicrobial standard formulation that inhibits and retards the growth of mold and mildew.
The panels are made with a cast process that enhances the surface appearance and orients fibers for excellent sound absorption and durability. Sound control features include high noise reduction coefficients (NRC) and a backing that acts as a sound barrier and resists "breathing" (air passing through the surface); consequently, the surface stays cleaner longer.
The cast process also produces panels that have integral color, which masks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse resistant surface resists scrapes and cleans easily with a brush or vacuum.
The panels are classified as zero-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed 2 µg/m3 (1.6 ppb), the background level specified per California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350. The panels are available with High Recycled Content (HRC). HRC Ceilings Panels are classified as containing over fifty percent total recycled content. Total recycled content is based on product composition of post-consumer and pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content per FTC guidelines.
The panels offer a 30-year system warranty to withstand conditions up to 104° F (40° C)/95-percent relative humidity without visible sag when used with a USG DONN® suspension system. They are guaranteed resistant to mold and mildew growth, subject to normal conditions.
