DURACAL® Cement

A specially formulated concrete patching material. With positive expansion DURCAL cement is formulated to lock the patch into place while allow traffic flow to return in as little as 1 hour after set. Mix design flexibility allows for high yields and low in place cost.
DURACAL® Cement is a specially formulated above-grade concrete patching materials. With its quick-setting formula, it is ideal for pavement repairs on expressways, roads, ramps, bridges, streets, parking lots, and commercial concrete floors.
The fine cement powder is available in 50-pound bags and can be applied "neat" or with aggregate, and it mixes with equal parts of both sand and coarse aggregate and a measurement of water. The finished batch can be scaled up within the mixer capacity.
Approved mixers include Ribbon Mixer, Drum Mixers. DURACAL Cement has also been successfully mixed with approved Mobile Mixers.
Design mix versatility allows for high yields using local low cost approved aggregates thus providing a low "in place" cost.
The cement sets fast — in just 20 to 35 minutes, depending on conditions— acquiring sufficient strength to accommodate traffic just one hour after setting.
It is exceptionally durable and performs in temperatures as low as 32° F, withstanding freeze-thaw cycles, salt application, and heavy traffic.
NOTE: The cement is not recommended for use in structural applications.
