Frost acoustical ceiling panels are durable panels that feature excellent sound control. With a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of .70 and a ceiling attenuation class (CAC) of up to 40, they are perfect for open plan office environments or private offices.
The panels are made with a cast process that enhances their surface appearance and provides excellent sound absorption and durability. The cast process ensures uniform color throughout panel, which masks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse-resistant surface cleans easily with a brush or vacuum.
With their exceptional CAC values, Frost panels provide an excellent combination of NRC and CAC. They have nearly double the impact resistance of typical fine-textured ceiling panels as tested by ASTM C367, and they resist "breathing" (air passing through the surface), staying cleaner longer.
The panels are classified as zero-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed 2 µg/m3 (1.6 ppb), the background level specified per California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350. The panels are available with High Recycled Content (HRC). HRC Ceiling Panels are classified as containing over fifty percent total recycled content. Total recycled content is based on product composition of post-consumer and pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content per FTC guidelines.
