HYDRO-STONE® Gypsum Cement
HYDRO-STONE® Gypsum Cement - For Tooling & Prototyping
HYDRO-STONE Gypsum Cement is ideal for stretch-press dies where extreme surface hardness is required. Offering greater expansion than is possible with HYDROCAL® A-11 or B-11 cements, it features a heavy, syrupy consistency, ideal for pouring into solid models or patterns (and making it ideal for filling multiple molds simultaneously).
With its high absorption resistance, it adapts to most flexible moulding compounds, and is a preferred medium for high-art novelty and statuary castings, or any other work that requires fine detail duplication.
The cement requires 32 parts water by weight per 100 parts plaster, and after machine mixing, it sets in 17-20 minutes.
For best storage results, keep indoors in a dry, stable environment, away from drafts. Do not stack more than two pallets high.
HYDRO-STONE® Gypsum Cement - For Art & Statuary
HYDRO-STONE Gypsum Cement is used in the fabrication of high-quality art novelty and statuary castings.
One of the hardest and strongest HYDROCAL® products, it offers excellent paintability and the highest ability to duplicate the most intricate details of any product in the art and statuary category. It is a self-leveling product with low viscosity and fast set time for quick mold turns.
