HYDROCAL® White Gypsum Cement

A general use product designed for the solid and hollow casting of lamp bases and figurines. Its high green strength minimizes breakage during removal from the most intricate latex molds, making it especially suitable for thin, delicate sections and has a great value to performance ratio.
HYDROCAL® White Gypsum Cement is a higher compressive strength, multi-purpose gypsum cement, ideal for both solid and hollow casting of lamp bases, figurines, moldings and general castings. It is a versatile, bright white gypsum cement that offers superior strength than most plaster products.
The cement is ideal for use in arts and crafts applications, such as the solid and hollow casting of lamp bases and figurines. The gradual setting action and long period of workability are notable features. It achieves a stark, white color, making it ideal for accepting colorants.
Offering twice the compressive strength of plaster, it is especially useful in delicate sections where high green strength is required, thus minimizing breakage during mold removal.
The cement requires 45 parts water by weight per 100 parts plaster and after machine mixing, sets in 25-35 minutes.
For best storage results, keep indoors in a dry, stable environment, away from drafts. Do not stack more than two pallets high.
