SHEETROCK® Brand Mold Tough® Gypsum Panels

Specially treated for moisture- and mold-resistance.These panels also offer the same benefits as regular gypsum panels.
SHEETROCK Mold Tough gypsum panels have a noncombustible, moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum core encased in moisture- and mold-resistant, 100-percent recycled green face and brown back paper. They score and snap easily without special handling, installing and finishing as easily as standard drywall. Available in regular and FIRECODE® core formulations.
The 5/8" FIRECODE® and 1/2" and 5/8” FIRECODE C Core panels are UL-Classified for fire resistance (Type X), surface burning, and non-combustibility.
In independent lab tests conducted on 5/8" SHEETROCK Mold Tough AR gypsum panels at the time of manufacture, per ASTM D3273, "Standard Test Method for Resistance to Growth of Mold on the Surface of Interior Coatings in an Environmental Chamber," the panels achieved a score of 10.
