Sheetrock® Brand UltraLight Panels Mold Tough® 

Take the weight off your back and your mind with Sheetrock® Brand UltraLight Panels Mold Tough®. These lightweight, high-quality wall and ceiling panels weigh up to 20% less than competitive moisture- and mold-resistant panels. And they feature a noncombustible, moisture-resistant core that’s encased in 100% recycled moisture- and mold-resistant green face and brown back papers. All of which makes them ideal for areas where moisture and mold resistance is desired.

 

As the lightest 1/2" moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum panels available, they’re easier to lift, carry and install. Plus, they meet or exceed ASTM C1396 specifications for 1/2" gypsum wallboard. And their high strength-to-weight ratio composite design means that while the weight has been reduced, their performance hasn’t.   

 

The panels score, snap, install and finish just like standard drywall. And, the long edges of the panels are tapered, to allow joints to be reinforced and concealed with Sheetrock® Brand joint treatment systems.
