Enhanced durability, good sound control performance, and sag resistance. They are perfect for schools, general offices, and retail stores.
They are medium-textured, scuff- and abuse-resistant acoustical panels that resist sagging, withstanding day-to-day activity in high-traffic areas. They are made with a water-felted manufacturing process that provides good ceiling attenuation class (CAC) performance, and a perforated panel surface aids in sound absorption. These panels also feature Superior Performance which means they contain a patented broad-spectrum antimicrobial standard formulation that inhibits and retards the growth of mold and mildew and they clean easily with a soft brush or vacuum.
The panels are classified as low-emitting; concentration levels do not exceed the 13.5 ppb limit required by California Special Environmental Requirements, Specifications Section 01350, and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). Their FIRECODE® formulation contains special additives that increase fire resistance and may qualify for use in fire rated assemblies to help meet life safety codes.
The panels offer a ClimaPlus 30-Year System Warranty to withstand conditions up to 104 ˚F (40 ˚C)/95 relative humidity without visible sag when used with USG DONN® Suspension Systems. They are guaranteed resistant to mold and mildew growth, subject to normal conditions.
