The Transparencies Luminous ceiling system gives the same subtly refracted light play as traditional glass blocks, at just a fraction of the weight, cost, and installation difficulties. Four unique textures are patterned after real glass blocks delivering truly authentic-looking results.
The panels fit into a texturized, exposed DONN® suspension system for easy lay-in installation, matching the "mortar joints" for design consistency. Standard fluorescent strip fixtures can be used as the light source and as a cost-effective option on an interior floor. The panels may be removed without tools for easy cleaning or re-lamping.
The panels consist of nine injection-molded 8"x 8" blocks, factory-assembled into 2'x 2' lay-in panels. Available in five translucent colors, 8"x 8" highlighters change the color of an individual block or an entire panel, accentuating your space.
