In last week’s post we talked about increasing demands for jobs and business along with key industry themes we’ve observed. This week, we’d like to share how USG can help you keep on target and highlight some of the new products we’ve launched.

Keeping Abreast of New Products

In 2015, we expanded a number of our product lines and saw greater demand for others. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Expansion of the ceilings product portfolio offers a new line of high performance ceiling products. These ceiling tiles offer industry-leading performance in balanced acoustics. Sound is becoming increasingly important not only in open plan offices, but also in education and healthcare.
  • Introduction of a full portfolio of glass mat panels, which are ideal for high performance buildings where moisture control is of concern.
  • Securock® ExoAir® 430 System offers proper protection against air and water barriers. This product launch focuses on the importance of a tighter building. The panels come with a factory-applied air and water barrier. This application provides a more predictable outcome, eliminates weather issues on the job site to keep the job on track, and the outcome is a properly sealed building.
  • Specialty Wallboard panels that address abuse resistance or fire safety needs are just a part of our extensive selection of specialty wallboard panels.
  • Self-leveling underlayments from our USG Durock™ Brand product line meet the needs of most flooring demands.
  • Launching the structural division of USG provides us with the ability to offer a structural panel solution, which provides a weight-saving option over poured concrete for mezzanines, roof decks and more.

Continuing Education Credits on Demand

We understand the importance of continuing education and want to make it easier for you to keep up your credits.
