The reputation of a public utilities company requires it to set the standard for energy conservation, economic construction and operation and concern for safety. To prove it could exceed its public requirements, Public Service Electric and Gas Company selected an energy-efficiency package that was chosen as the subject of a Department of Energy (DOE) study.
To accomplish the robust project, builders incorporated a variety of USG products, including Ultrawall Movable Partitions, Thermafiber Safing Insulation, Thermafiber Mineral Fireproofing and USG® Cavity Shaft Wall System. Together the systems combined economy, light weight, fast speed of construction, high-quality sound performance and effective fire protection.
The project resulted in a modern open floor plan paired with economical product installation allow the building to conduct business efficiently with an eye on longevity.
