Introducing an All New Submittal Builder and More

USG is excited to announce the relaunch and modernization of some of our most-used customer tools:
- Submittal Builder
- Substitution Form (within Product Comparison Tool)
- Order a Sample (within Submittal Builder)
The significant enhancements to these tools allows for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience, making it easier for customers to do business with USG. The new tools can be easily found under the new Project Tools section in the main navigation.
New Submittal Builder
- All new user experience making it much easier to find products
- Simple, clear step-by-step user flow
- Capability to create project folders and upload external documents to better manage jobs
- Highlight and comment on .pdf documents in the submittal builder tool
- Ability to edit/combine downloaded submittal packages with other files
New Substitution Form on expanded Product Comparison Tool
- Product Comparison Tool expanded to include wall and sheating products
- Offers a side-by-side comparison of competitor and USG products
- One-click access to download a substitution package or add to a larger submittal
- The USG product data/submittal sheet and comparison page is included in the .pdf
- The substitution form, comparison page and data/submittal sheet can be highlighted and comments added in submittal builder tool
- The final output is a multi-page .pdf that can be downloaded or printed
Order a Sample – through Submittal Builder
- Customers can order samples for one or all products used in their submittal
- Products selected will appear in a shopping cart where customers will verify the samples selected and “continue to checkout”
