Abuse Resistance Solutions
Product Solutions:
USG developed several products that meet the abuse characteristics specified by the section 403.2.3.2 of the IBC 2009 for egress corridors in high rise structures.
Since both Fiberock and Sheetrock Mold Tough are resistant to mold and mildew they are perfect solutions for use in hospitals, schools, general assembly buildings and industrial facilities.

The following products are best suited for applications where abuse resistance is required. The 5/8” thick panels must be used to achieve the specified abuse resistance ratings.
Fiberock Aqua-Tough Interior Panels Abuse resistant
