Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are USG-supported, employee-led groups that provide opportunities for employees with shared interests and aspirations to celebrate their differences and collaborate to promote diversity, inclusion and belonging. These voluntary groups play an important role in supporting a diverse and engaged workforce. They provide employees with development and networking opportunities, enhance cultural and leadership competencies, and offer opportunities to make a difference at USG both today and in the future.

Asian Employee Resource Group

Asian Employee Resource Group

The Asian Employee Resource Group works to promote the heritage of different Asian ethnicities by sharing cultures and languages with USG employees through networking, events, and social gatherings. AEN’s goal is to promote cross cultural understanding and raise awareness of cultural issues between Asian and non-Asian employees to help our employees prepare to tackle the global business world.

USG Pride Employee Resource Group

USG Pride Employee Resource Group

The USG Pride Employee Resource Group works to promote a spirit of pride and unity at work and in the communities where we live and do business. We act as a credible resource and strong advocate for our LGBTQ+ workforce and allies by providing educational, networking, community service, and professional development opportunities. We strive to create a workplace that empowers people to bring their authentic selves to work.

USG Disabilities Resource Group

USG Disabilities Resource Group

The USG Disabilities Resource Group assists in the recruitment and retention of employees with disabilities and to support employees who have family members with disabilities. We work to raise awareness and dispel myths about disabilities. We represent people with all types of disabilities, including physical, mental, developmental, emotional, hearing, visual, speech and language.

USG New Talent Resource Group

The USG New Talent Resource Group mission is to foster relationships, professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities with a focus on retention, learning, and career advancement. USGNT members are supported with opportunities of continuous learning and networking/career development.

African American Employee Resource Group

African American Employee Resource Group

The African American Employee Resource Group enhances the diversity of USG employees through proactive identification and recruitment of talented African American professionals. We assist USG with developing and fostering a supportive environment in which employees can develop professionally, while gaining skills and attributes necessary for progression within the company as well as encouraging community service and business development.

WomenRock!

WomenRock!

WomenRock! promotes and supports women in their professional development and career advancement at USG.  We work to increase awareness of gender equality topics, act as a catalyst for change across the organization, communicate relevant workplace issues impacting women to Senior Leadership and provide networking opportunities for all employees.

Defend the Rock

Defend the Rock

Defend the Rock helps build relationships among current and former military service members throughout USG. We organize events and activities that express patriotism and support for our military members, friends and family.

Latino Employee Resource Group

Latino Employee Resource Group

The Latino Employee Resource Group advocates diversity and employee inclusion by promoting Hispanic/Latino culture through cultural awareness activities, community volunteering and networking events. We create opportunities to collaborate and engage with various levels of our leadership, business unit teams, employee resource groups and other networking groups.
