Construction In The Time of COVID-19

USG is an industry leader and an essential business that has continued supporting critical building over the last several months. Although 87% of contractors report project delays due to COVID-19, most are optimistic that the industry - which supports 3 million jobs and $700 billion in spending - will recover quickly.
USG’s CEO Chris Griffin spoke on a recent panel discussion about the effects of COVID-19 on the construction industry and the broader economy, joined by Michael Stark, CEO of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry and Curtis Dubay, senior economist from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
