HYDROCAL® FGR 95 and HYDROCAL® FGR 115
HYDROCAL® FGR 95
HYDROCAL FGR 95 is an economical, specially formulated, high-strength gypsum cement designed for use with glass fiber for fabricating lightweight, thin-cast, and fire-resistant glass-reinforced architectural details.
The cement is an alpha-hemihydrate gypsum-based material, with a low water requirement that results in high-strength, high-density pieces. It offers superior fabrication flexibility, simplifying the process for producing everything from simple cornices to richly ornate capitals and medallions.
It allows for the quick and easy duplication of existing pieces or the creation of unique products, setting exceptionally quickly — in 50-70 minutes with manual application. It accepts most coatings and overcomes building fire code incompatibilities faced by many plastics, at roughly one-third the cost of filled polyesters.
It is suitable for decorating with a variety of finishes. Each 100-pound bag provides 1/10-inch coverage for roughly 125-square feet.
