Efficient Air Barrier Delivery Drives Construction
The Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation is building a new state-of-the-art pediatric hospital in Springdale, Arkansas. The 37-acre campus is scheduled to open in January 2018. Completed plans for the 225,000-square-foot facility, known as Arkansas Children’s Northwest, feature the Securock® ExoAir® 430 System. This system is comprised of two proven products—USG Securock® Brand Glass-Mat Sheathing and Tremco ExoAir® 230 Fluid-Applied Membrane—now together as one complete system.
The state of Arkansas recognized the need for additional pediatric care; this is the start of a long-term plan to provide better health care access for residents. Construction was met with very cold weather, with lots of rain. The speed of installation of the 430 System allowed for no weather delays, keeping the project on track for completion.
