USG Levelrock® Brand SAM-N™ Supreme Series Sound Attenuation Mats are premium sound mat designed to help meet or exceed the demanding IIC requirements in mass timber construction. These multi-layered mats feature uniquely engineered lightweight glass fibers that provide a high-level of acoustical absorption.
Main Features
USG Levelrock® Brand SAM-N™ Supreme Series Sound Attenuation Mats feature a three-layer design with lightweight glass fibers. Developed for mass timber construction, and when installed as a system with a USG Levelrock® Brand Floor Underlayment, they can provide superior sound absorption to meet IBC acoustical requirements.Levelrock® Brand SAM-N™ Supreme Series Sound Attenuation Mats are now available in two thicknesses - 5/16 in. (8 mm) and 23/32 in. (18 mm).- A lightweight, single-mat solution for mass timber construction
- Three layer mat with lightweight glass fibers that provide superior sound absorption
- Helpmeet and exceed STC and IIC code requirements when used as a system withUSG Levelrock® Floor Underlayment
- Requires a topping of USG Levelrock® Floor Underlayment; minimum thickness varies by mat
- Installed by USG Levelrock® authorized applicators
