Available in 50 lb. bags, supersacks and in bulk, No. 1 Industrial Ground Gypsumis an easily applied multi-use gypsum product for use in agricultural, horticultural and environmental applications. No. 1 Industrial Ground Gypsum benefits mushroom farming, manure odor abatement and oil well site remediation, among other applications, by:- Providing calcium and sulfur to agricultural and horticultural crops without significantly affecting pH
- Helping to clarify muddy ponds that have become cloudy from adjacent construction site runoff
- Helping to eliminate salt (sodium) from oil well sites
- Helping to eliminate ammonia smell from animal stalls and confinements by converting free ammonia into a non-volatile form (ammonium sulfate)
- Helps to control downhole “slaking” in calcium-rich drilling environments.

Is gypsum harmful to animals?
No. On the contrary, USG Calcium Sulfate Feed Grade is used as a calcium enrichment for animal feed. USG Food and Pharmaceutical grade gypsum products are used in many human food and pharmaceutical applications. Gypsum should not be harmful if used appropriately.
