Christopher Macey
President, Gypsum
Senior Vice President
Christopher Macey is president of USG’s Gypsum Division and a senior vice president of USG Corporation. In this role, Macey is responsible for the strategic direction, business growth, P&L performance and new product development of USG’s drywall and surfaces business units.
Macey joined USG in 2006 as vice president of Sales and Marketing for CGC Inc., USG’s Canadian subsidiary. He has more than 20 years of experience in the building materials industry and has held a variety of leadership roles in USG’s Canadian, Mexican and Latin American businesses. Most recently, Macey served as President, CGC, leading all strategy, growth and operations for USG’s Canadian business.
Macey holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Western Ontario and a master’s degree in business administration from the Ivey Business School at The University of Western Ontario.
Macey previously served as a supplier representative on The Home Depot Canada’s advisory committee for The Home Depot Foundation and has held various management and coaching roles in competitive youth minor hockey in Ontario, Canada. He and his wife, Cathy, have two children.
