Christopher Macey is a driving force behind USG's wallboard and surfaces business, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the building materials industry to his role as president of the Gypsum Division. His responsibilities include strategic direction, business growth, P&L performance and new product development.
Since joining USG in 2006, Chris has held a variety of leadership positions and has played a vital role in shaping the company’s success. Not only has he led USG’s businesses in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, he has led the company’s gypsum and ceilings businesses. Chris most recently served as president of CGC, USG's Canadian subsidiary.
Chris is passionate about developing new products and strategies that meet the evolving needs of our customers. He's committed to ensuring USG remains at the forefront of the wallboard, interior finishing and gypsum materials businesses, delivering high-quality products and solutions that build a better future.
Chris holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Western Ontario and a master's degree in business administration from the Ivey Business School at The University of Western Ontario.
