Brian Tauke brings a blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to his role as chief strategy officer at USG. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in management consulting, information technology and pharmaceuticals, Brian is a key architect of USG's growth and evolution.
Leading USG's internal corporate strategy department, Brian's responsibilities encompass a range of critical functions, including industry analysis, corporate strategy development, merger and acquisition evaluation, and capital allocation. His keen ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions has been instrumental in shaping USG's direction.
Since joining USG in 2014, Brian has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, demonstrating a deep understanding of the business and his commitment to delivering results. Previously, he served as general manager of USG's wallboard business.
Before joining USG, Brian developed his strategic consulting skills as an associate principal at McKinsey & Company. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Iowa State University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Residing in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife and two daughters, Brian is an active member of the Board of Directors for Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity and is passionate about promoting STEM education for children.
