Barbara-Maria Loth

Barbara-Maria Loth has broad responsibility for everything that is related to our customers – including the strategy and operationalization of our customers' interaction experience with our digital touchpoints. Together with her leadership team, she shapes and advances the areas of customer service, sales operations, marketing, our digital platforms, and customer software.
Barbara-Maria joined USG in 2023 with a sound background in business transformation and corporate operations. Starting her career as a top management consultant, she worked internationally, advising manufacturing companies and governmental institutions. As part of her ten years tenure with the Knauf Group, Barbara-Maria was trusted with a broad set of responsibilities that spanned the marketing, digital, sales, and service divisions. Her strong leadership and ability to forge cross-functional partnerships hereby produced targeted, tangible, and long-lasting results for Knauf.
Immediately prior to assuming the role at USG, she served five years as Global Head of Commercial Excellence and Chief Digital Officer at the headquarter of Knauf in Germany. In these roles, she was instrumental in setting up the commercial excellence and digital program for the Knauf Group. And before her appointment in Germany, Barbara-Maria was the Chief Operating Officer of Knauf Insulation North America, in Shelbyville, Indiana where she drove and fine-tuned the Supply Chain, Customer Service, Strategy, HR, and Legal divisions.
Barbara-Maria studied and graduated in Munich, Germany and holds a master’s degree in political science and law. She lives in Chicago with her husband and is enthusiastic about mentoring.
